inlets

Slope inlets are designed to drain rainwater from terrain with a slope usually greater than 8%, from unpaved terrain, or terrain with a large catchment area. Slope inlets are fitted with a large flat grating at the top and have a storage area for sediment.

Types

Slope inlets are manufactured with internal dimensions of 1 240 × 620 mm. The top surface for the grating is made with a 0° or 15° inclination. A cast-iron grating of load-bearing class B, C is placed on the reinforced concrete storage part of the drain. Slope inlets are fitted with steel-core and PE-coated clamp steps in accordance with DIN 19555-A-ST in 350 mm increments. For handling the inlets are equipped with handling slings. The height of a slope inlet can be increased by fitting a levelling ring in a step of 200 mm. A reduction in the height of a slope inlet can be made as an atypical custom order in agreement with the factory.

Additional equipment for the inlets includes manhole covers and gratings.
